I’ve just returned from a week away in Poland on a training course with work. I knew it was a remote location with pretty much minimal or no gym kit available.
So I took 3 resistance bands all of different strengths to carry out my daily gym workouts.
So what are resistance bands:
Resistance bands are a great addition to any strength training routine or rehabilitation program, and they come in a variety of sizes, lengths, and resistance levels. … Just like free weights, exercise bands come in a range of resistance levels, from highly stretchable to heavy-duty strength.
Resistance bands are a great workout tool not only because they’re super affordable, transportable and versatile, but because they can help target larger muscles as well as smaller stabilizing muscles.
So with that in mind for those who didn’t know much about them or are unfamiliar with them I designed a 4 day package targeting : Back,legs,arms and shoulders. Clearly you have to have a creative imagination and really think outside the box for exercises to do. But it is possible !!
Looking back I really enjoyed the week of resistance bands and it’s assisted my mobility massively and also made me think more cleverly about my future training.
